The Fan This turned out to be the toughest part of the whole project. My first three attempts were all very noisy, so that would be why Mr MacApple mounts the fan on rubber bushes...I made a wooden floor plate to fit the bottom of the flower pot and cut a hole in the plate to match the fan. The plate originally carried 4 woodnuts to mount the fan - big mistake. The fan now sits on 4 little rubber pillars looted from another fan. The fan was still rather frenetic so I added a 5v regulator. That means it gets 5v instead of the normal 12v.
