The Power Supply

The iMac power supplies are fairly rare, at least around here (read: expensive), so my original idea was to use some other power supply. Then I ran into the same problems that Mr Apple Engineer obviously faced when asked to fit a fan, hard disk, power supply, CD drive and motherboard into an upside-down pudding basin. Making it work was easy, but nothing would fit. So I used one of the originals thanks to the eBay fairy.

Thanks to the modern technological miracle of Gorilla Glue, the power supply sits on two little shelves either side of the fan. 

No, there are no drawings or dimensions for this, you'll have to wing it the same as me.
